Ariel M. Edwards
Ariel M. Edwards, 95, of Frewsburg, formerly of Florida, passed away Thursday (Jan, 10, 2019) in UPMC Chautauqua.
She was born Feb, 18, 1923, in Brookville, Pa., the daughter of the late Edgar and Kitty Himes.
In earlier years, Ariel was employed by Automatic Voting Machine. For most of Ariel’s life she was dedicated to taking care of her family.
Surviving are two sons: Bennie C. (Johnnie) Edwards Jr. of Brookville, Fla., and Dennis C. (Linda) Edwards of Jamestown; two daughters: Bonnie J. (Steve) Tuberville of Florida, and Donna M. Aaron of Brookville, Fla.; 14 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; two sisters: Helen “Ossie” McAnich and Mabel Boyd.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bennie C. Edwards, who died Sept. 10, 2008; a son, Barney Edwards in 2009; and several brothers and sisters.
As per Ariel’s wishes no funeral service or visitation will be observed. Burial will be in Red Bird Cemetery.
Memorials may be donated to a charity of one’s choice.
