Richard G. Miller
KENNEDY, N.Y. — Richard G. Miller, 68, of 434 Miller-Valley Road, died at 6 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 30, 2018, at home with his wife.
A lifelong area resisent, he was born Aug. 31, 1949, in Jamestown, N.Y., the son of Raymond A. and Mary M. Miller.
He was a graduate of Falconer High School. He operated a dairy farm on Miller-Valley Road, was also employed at Truck-Lite and drove truck for Cargil and Growmark.
His greatest passion was farming and his cows. He also enjoyed his grandchildren and dogs, loved his lawn mowing and watching westerns.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Rose M. Miller; a daughter, Amanda M. and a son, Alan G., both of Kennedy; two grandchildren: Austin G. and Alex M. of Kennedy; a sister, Nancy J. Arrance (Harry); a brother, David R. Miller (Becky); and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a remembrance held on Wednesday, Sept. 5, at the Dry Brook Restaurant, Falconer, N.Y., from 5-7 p.m.
Memorials may be sent to the Kennedy Fire Department, Rescue Squad or Hospice of Chautauqua County.
