Phyllis “Perrie” M. Ruby
Phyllis “Perrie” M. Ruby, 76, a resident of Cape Coral, Fla., since 1984, formerly of Lakewood, N.Y., passed away Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2016, in Cape Coral.
She was born Nov. 27, 1940, in Jamestown, N.Y., to the late C. Edward and Irene Anderson.
Perrie was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Cape Coral. She was a member of the Ira Lou Springs American Legion in Jamestown, N.Y., and co-owner of Golden Pond @ Fleamasters, Fort Myers, Fla.
Gratitude is what we are reminded of when we think of Perrie’s life. The spark of motivation inside that is inspired by the ones who fight to push through every day. Perrie left us knowing that the ones she loved will live their life with her in their heart, and her determination in their blood.
She is survived by three loving children: Rene Maxwell (David) of Cape Coral, James E. Ruby (Lori) of Land O’Lake, Fla., and Debbie Yarmesch (Bryan) of Tarpon Springs, Fla.; a brother, Jon Michael Anderson (Irene) of Panama, N.Y.; a sister, Joni Rowe of Ocala, Fla., six grandchildren: Alexandria, James, Elizabeth, Amy Jo, Wes and Casey; two great-grandchildren: Aubree and James; as well as several extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Ruby in 1990.
