Cathy Ann Kennedy-Kuczynski

A lifelong area resident, she was born March 19, 1963, in Jamestown, N.Y., a daughter of the late Albert J. and Helen L. Bush Dean.

Prior to her illness, she had been employed by Truck Lite Inc. and was a home health care aide for the Resource Center. She and her family were also drivers for the Amish com- munity in the Sherman area.

Surviving are her husband, Anthony Kuczynski; her two children: Shawn Seekings of Clymer, and Montica Seekings of Sherman; her grandchildren: Mykala, Shawn, Anthony, Shawn Albert and Kyi Seekings, Brandielie, Payton, Shanaiya and Selena Linger; three sisters: Linda Fraley of Panama, Debbie Dean of Jamestown, and Gloria Card of Lakewood; and a brother, Ronnie Dean of Jamestown. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

She was an avid pool player and played in the pool league at the Crescent Inn. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, playing Yahtzee and playing scratch off tickets. She also loved animals, especially her cat, Cuddles and her dog, Sassy.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Joshua Kennedy; a sister, Donna Seekings; and a brother, Steve Dean.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Brett Scarem, pastor of the New Beginnings Fellowship Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Lake View Cemetery. Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Thursday (today) and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, before the service, in the funeral home.
