Jennie M. Lindberg
Jennie M. Lindberg, 59, formerly of Randolph, N.Y., passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2015, at her home in Roanoke, Va.
Jennie was born March 7, 1956, in Randolph, N.Y., the daughter of Fred and Viola Covedill.
A graduate of Randolph Central School, she went on to become a Licensed Practical Nurse and worked as such in both Jamestown, N.Y., and in the Roanoke, Va., area for many years.
She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and spent much time caring for and loving her family. A particular heartbreak was the loss of her son, David, who was killed in action during the Iraq War.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Kevin J. Lindberg; five daughters: Laura Yehlic of Pine City, Minn., Michelle Krawczyk and Terra Moeller of Roanoke, Va., and twins Karin Benson and Kellie Textor of Hinckley, Minn.; two brothers: Richard (Dick) Covedill of Falconer, N.Y., and David Covedill of Randolph, N.Y.; and 17 grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Staff Sgt. David Textor; and two brothers: Leonard Covedill and Everett (Skip) Covedill; and a sister, Rita Gardner.
A private service was held for immediate family and close friends on Saturday, June 27, in Roanoke.
