Dorothy H. Tylock
Dorothy H. Tylock (Borkowski), age 93, of Dunkirk, N.Y., died Thurs-day, March 5, 2015, at the Heritage Park Rehab and Skilled Nursing facility in Jamestown. Dorothy was born in Fredonia on Jan. 28, 1922, to the late John Borkowski and Mary Cybart Borkowski. Dorothy was a fantastic cook; she especially enjoyed cooking Polish foods. She was an avid gardener. Dorothy was a kind and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She especially cherished spending time with her grandchildren.
Dorothy is survived by her son, John L. Tylock (Rita Ann) of North Tonawanda, N.Y.; her daughter, Germaine “Gerry” (Eric) Eklum of Jamestown, N.Y.; grandchildren: Kathryn Eklum, Todd (Dawn) Eklum and Erin (Shane) Knapp; great-grandchildren: Andrew, Zachary, and Cecelia “C.C.” Eklum, Jonah Rizzuto, Chloe, Isabell, and Hudson Knapp. Be-sides her parents, Dorothy is predeceased by her husband, Leonard Tylock: her siblings: Rose, Marie, Belle, Blanche, Tony, John, Chester and Steve; and is also survived by nieces and nephew. Flowers are grate-fully declined. Memorial contributions in Dorothy’s memory may be made to the Roswell Park Alliance.
Calls may be made on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the LARSON-TIMKO Funeral Home, 20 Central Ave., Fredonia, N.Y., where prayers will be offered on Monday at 9:15 a.m., followed by a Mass of Chris-tian Burial at St. Joseph Church, 145 E.
