City woman sounds alarm on loose animals

The Jamestown Police Department has seen a small increase in the amount of calls that have come in related to animal control issues over the past few years. This includes a recent incident near Allen Park by West Virginia Boulevard. Karm Messina, a resident of the area, reported the incident both to the police and the Post-Journal. BPU reports on design for fiber work

Over the past month, work has continued forward with the Board of Public Utilities’ fiber network project, and at the BPU’s August meeting General Manager Kris Sellstrom reported they have reached the final design phase for the underground work. “We have been busy with the fiber project, getting that rolling forward,” Sellstrom said. “We do have final design for the underground work downtown.
