A closed feed mill in the western portion of the county has been sold.

The Post-Journal and OBSERVER have been analyzing real estate sales in Chautauqua County and recently looked at the transactions from Dec. 8-11.

During this time period, 118 Kendrick St., Sherman was sold for $111,100. That is the location of Farmers Mill, which closed in 2019.

In a separate sale, Chautauqua Inns, LTD sold 13 S. Erie St., Mayville to Chautauqua Properties, LLC of Mayville for $125,000. That is the location of the business Uptown Mall.

Since 2023, Chautauqua Inns, LTD has sold a number of commercial properties in Mayville including: 11, 17, 19, 21, 28, 43, 45, 51, 186 and 188 S. Erie St. and 15 Water St. Those are current or former storefront businesses and/or restaurants.

From Dec. 8-11 there were seven sales that were $250,000 or higher. They are as follows:

– 137 Chautauqua Escapes Ave., North Harmony sold for $995,000.

– 4200 Beck Road, Ellery sold for $500,000.

– 156 Chautauqua Escapes, North Harmony sold for $410,000.

– Home 8434, Highlands II Condominium, French Creek sold for $400,000.

– 150 Sea Lion Drive, Mayville sold for $325,000.

– 10595 Dunkirk town sold for $272,000.

– 56 Briggs St., Lakewood sold for $265,000.

Overall, from Dec. 8-11 there were 65 transactions. The full list of sales higher than $1 is as follows:
