Five Charged In City Drug Raid

A Jamestown woman and four others from Buffalo were charged Thursday following a large seizure of narcotics and cash in the city.

According to Jamestown police, investigators with the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force and New York State Police CNET stopped a vehicle that was leaving a 153 S. Main St. lower apartment at approximately 11 a.m.

Inside, police found 29-year-old Nicholas J. Gaskin, 24-year-old Kayma L. Snow and 36-year-old Clifford Stanley, all from Buffalo.

Also inside, police allegedly found a quantity of crack cocaine, fentanyl, marijuana and more than $2,000 in cash.

After the vehicle stop, investigators with the aid of the Jamestown Police Department SWAT Team entered the South Main Street apartment and located 22-year-old Laquil D. Hilson of Jamestown and 23-year-old Sydney Johnson of Buffalo.

All five individuals were charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Johnson was additionally charged with criminal impersonation.

They were transported to the Jamestown City Jail to await arraignment.
