JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT — Constance A. Mitchell, 21, of Jamestown was charged with three counts of second-degree assault, two counts of fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and fourth-degree criminal mischief after an incident late Saturday. DUNKIRK POLICE DEPARTMENT — A Dunkirk man with an active arrest warrant for third-degree criminal possession of a weapon is facing additional charges after an arrest last month. City police reported Thursday that Fernando Martinez Jr., 44, was located at 11:05 p.m. Nov. 26 in the area of Central Avenue and Fourth Street. The warrants stemmed from an investigation tied to an incident in January when Martinez was allegedly found to be in possession of a Semi-Automatic pistol. JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT — Stefan C Howie, 44, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny. Friday, officers responded to a west side address for a complaint. Officers had obtained video footage of a male stealing a package off the victim's porch. While responding to the area officers located the male from the video. A subsequent investigation by officers discovered that the male, Howie, had in fact stolen the package. ELLICOTT POLICE - Michelle L. Wasson, 46 , of Jamestown was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance on Nov. 23 at 7:13 a.m. Ellicott police responded to a well-being check at a Falconer location where it is alleged Wasson was passed out behind the wheel of her vehicle. Officers located Wasson allegedly in possession of a quantity of methamphetamine that was in plain view inside the vehicle. Wasson was charged and processed at the Ellicott Police Department.
