JAMESTOWN POLICE — Two city residents face charges after a search warrant was executed on Newland Avenue on Thursday. Around 9:25 a.m., the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force and Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Investigators executed a search warrant at 1254 Newland Ave. Crystal M. Vogt, Ulus C. Battle III and three other individuals were located inside the residence. JAMESTOWN POLICE - Two city residents face charges after a traffic stop at 5:08 p.m. Monday near 2000 Washington St. According to a police report, Officers identified the occupants of the vehicle to be Nicholas T. Doland and Crystal R. Borst. Through investigation it was found that Doland, a Bemus Point resident, had an outstanding probation warrant and Borst, a Jamestown resident, was allegedly in possession of a small quantity of fentanyl and buprenorphine naloxone sublingual films. Bloom, 31, of Jamestown was charged with first-degree criminal contempt at 3:47 p.m. Sunday after officers responded to an address on the city’s south side for a reported domestic incident. Officers allegedly found Bloom in front of the other person’s home despite having a full stay away order of protection in effect between Bloom and the other person. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT — PANAMA — On Feb. 2 at about 11:56 a.m. deputies were dispatched to the report of animal cruelty which occurred on Niobe Road. After an investigation it was found that Heather Carlson did sell five ducks that were not properly cared for. Two of the five ducks passed away before they could receive medical attention. The three remaining ducks were euthanized due to the condition that they were in. Colon, 56, of Jamestown was charged with tampering with physical evidence, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and vehicle and traffic infractions after officers working on a Gun Involved Violence Elimination detail pulled a vehicle over at 9:19 p.m. Thursday on Washington and West Fourth streets for traffic violations.
