According to a police report, Westfield police officers received a tip Tuesday that a Level 2 registered sex offender was living in the Thruway Motel in Westfield without properly updating his address with local law enforcement or the state Sex Offender Registry. JAMESTOWN POLICE - Joseph Helms, 43, and Cody Reichenbach, 31, both of Jamestown, were charged with third-degree burglary, third-degree criminal mischief, possession of burglar’s tools, and third-degree criminal tampering at 1:11 p.m. Tuesday after officers responded to a reported burglary in progress at a north side address. CHERRY CREEK CAR FIRES BEING PROBED CHERRY CREEK — At 6:09 a.m. Sunday, the Cherry Creek Fire Department responded to Dredge Ditch Road in the Town of Cherry Creek for a reported vehicle fire. The Chautauqua County Fire Investigation Team was requested to the scene to conduct an origin and cause fire investigation.
