According to officials, On Dec. 9, 2025 around 6 p.m, deputies responded to a business on Shortman Road in the town of Ripley for a past tense shoplifting complaint. Through investigation it is alleged that Dunagan did take merchandise and consumable goods from the business on multiple occasions. Woman injured in car-pedestrian accident SILVER CREEK --- An adult female was transported to ECMC after a car-pedestrian accident Friday morning. At around 7:56 a.m., the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office responded the incident at Main Street and Central Avenue. City Man Sentenced In Drug Distribution Case

A Jamestown man has been sentenced to time served for selling and distributing drugs. U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo announced that James Brandow, 37, who was convicted of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute, and to distribute, heroin and fentanyl, was sentenced to time served — more than three years — by Senior U.S. District Judge William M. Skretny. Assistant U.S. Attorney Joshua A. Violanti, who handled the case, stated that between July 2020, and June 2021, Brandow conspired with others to sell heroin and fentanyl. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT - Mahlon Coblentz, 22, of Stockton, was charged Dec. 16 with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, making an unsafe lane change, and leaving the scene of a property damage accident. According to officials, at about 11:31 p.m., deputies responded to a motor vehicle accident in the town of Stockton. The operator was identified as Coblentz. JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT - Kevin L. Bellardo, 53, was charged Dec. 16 with first-degree criminal contempt. According to police, at about 3:48 a.m., officers observed Bellardo walking on the west side with a woman who had an active order of protection against Bellardo.
