LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT - Kaylee N. Keech, 27, of Jamestown, was charged March 6 with petit larceny, fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and tampering with physical evidence. According to police, at about 8 p.m., officers were investigating a suspicious acting person in the area of the Lakewood Walmart. During the investigation, it was discovered that Keech allegedly had stolen merchandise from the store. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT — PORTLAND — At 2:17 p.m. Saturday, deputies were patrolling on Webster Road and stopped a vehicle for an alleged traffic infraction. Through an investigation it was determined that Andrew C. Harris, 29, of Westfield was operating the vehicle with a suspended license. Harris was charged with felony first-degree aggravated unlicensed operator, Unlicensed operator, and uninspected motor vehicle. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT - Kenneth Blendowski, 41, of Hamburg, was charged March 5 with driving while intoxicated, failure to keep right, and improper signaling. Officials said at around 10:17 p.m., deputies were on routine patrol in the town of Pomfret, when they stopped a vehicle for an alleged traffic violation. Through investigation the operator, Blendowski was found to be operating the vehicle while allegedly intoxicated. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT - Sarah N. Parker-Ward, 28, of the town of Portland, was charged Wednesday with second-degree assault, and endangering the welfare of a child, while Aaron J. Spencer, 30, of the town of Portland was charged with second-degree attempted assault, and endangering the welfare of a child. Officials said at 9:45 p.m. deputies responded to a reported altercation that occurred. Through investigation, it was determined that Parker-Ward and Spencer committed alleged crimes. Dunlap, 61, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree criminal contempt at 4 p.m. Tuesday after officers responded to a south side home after a reported domestic dispute. A man and woman were allegedly arguing in a common hallway of the home. When officers arrived they allegedly saw Dunlap Jr. inside the home with a person who had an active, full stay away order of protection against Dunlap Jr. Dunlap Jr. was charged and taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned. - Doughshon L. JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT - Saron W. Leeper, 54, of Jamestown, was charged March 2 with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. According to police, at about 3:29 .m., officers observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation at Charles and Superior streets. Officers initiated a traffic stop, and identified Leeper as the driver. During the course of the investigation, police said, officers recovered a quantity of cocaine that was individually packaged and consistent with intent to sell.
