LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
– Tammy L. Furlow, 53, was charged Saturday with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia. According to police, at about 1:17 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop near Chautauqua Avenue and East Summit Street. Further investigation during the stop revealed that Furlow was found to be in alleged possession of 13 small plastic bags, each tied off and containing a white, narcotic-appearing substance. The substances later tested positive for methamphetamine and heroin. She was placed into custody, and taken to LBPD for processing, and later taken to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment. She will be in Busti Town Court later.

SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT
– Frank G. Rivera-Montero, 39, of Fredonia, was charged Friday with speeding, driving with ability impaired by drugs, and seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance. Officials said, at about 12:50 a.m., deputies stopped a vehicle in Fredonia for speeding. The operator was identified as Rivera-Montero, and through investigation, he was found to be allegedly driving while his ability was impaired by drugs.
