JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

– Alexis S. Wakefield, 25, of Jamestown was charged Nov. 16 with second-degree aggravated harassment, and first-degree criminal contempt. According to police, at about 8:17 a.m., officers responded to a westside residence for a reported violation of an active order of protection. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim and learned that Wakefield allegedly had threatened the victim, and violated an order of protection issued by Jamestown City Court. Officers located Wakfield at her residence, and was placed into custody without incident, and was taken to Jamestown City Jail. She will be in city court later.

– Christopher E. Dellahoy, 37, of Jamestown, was charged Nov. 18 with second-degree unlawful imprisonment. According to police, at about 10:26 p.m., officers responded to the Southside for a fight involving a male and female. Upon arrival, officers located Dellahoy and a female victim. The victim stated to officers that Dellahoy allegedly “snatched her up” as she was trying to leave. Dellahoy was placed into custody without incident, and taken to the city jail. He will be in city court later.

– Vincent A. Jones, 59, of Jamestown, was charged Nov. 16 with second-degree assault. According to police, at about 6 p.m., officers responded to a Northside residence for a reported domestic incident. Upon arrival, it was found that Jones allegedly cut a female victim with a broken plate causing a laceration. Jones was placed into custody, and taken to the city jail. He will be in city court later.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT

– Donald Thurston, 72, of Silver Creek, was charged Nov. 17, with second-degree criminal contempt, and second-degree harassment. According to officials, at about 12:40 p.m., deputies responded to the town of Hanover substation for a suspicious occurrence. Through investigation it was determined that on Nov. 13, Thurston allegedly violated a valid order of protection. Thurston was placed into custody without incident, and transported to the Chautauqua County Jail. He will be in Hanover Town Court later..

– Aaron Sheldon, 31, of Jamestown, was charged Nov. 14 with fourth-degree stalking, and second-degree criminal contempt. According to officials, at about 6 p.m., on Nov. 13, the sheriff’s office received a complaint from an anonymous caller about an alleged crime. After a thorough investigation, it was determined that Sheldon allegedly violated his order of protection, and utilized an electronic camera to monitor another person. Sheldon was taken into custody, and taken to Jamestown City Jail. He will be in Jamestown City Court later.

– Joseph C. Elder, 55, of Cassadaga, was charged Nov. 14 with speeding, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle, and driving while intoxicated. According to officials, at about 11:05 p.m., deputies stopped a vehicle in the town of Gerry, for alleged traffic violations. The operator was identified as Elder and through investigation Elder was found to be allegedly driving while intoxicated. Elder was placed in custody, and transported to the Ellicott Police Department to be processed. He will be in Gerry Town Court later.

– Jose E. Del Valle, 45, of Jamestown, was charged Nov. 16 with DWI. According to officials, at about 6:21 a.m., deputies observed a traffic infraction on Route 60 in the town of Gerry, and then conducted a traffic stop. Del Valle was identified as the driver, and upon further investigation it was found that Del Valle was allegedly driving while intoxicated. He was placed into custody, and taken to the Chautauqua County Jail. He will be in Gerry Town Court later.

ELLICOTT TOWN POLICE

– Samantha L. Harley, 33, was charged Nov. 12 with second-degree reckless endangerment, second-degree harassment, two counts of fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and three counts of second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia, while Kody J. Scott was charged with second-degree menacing, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, second-degree reckless endangerment, and three counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. According to police, at about 10 a.m., officers responded to a report of a woman and man allegedly assaulting a tow truck driver who was attempting to repossess their vehicle. It is alleged Harley and Scott were in a physical altercation with the victim after Harley attempted to strike the victim with a vehicle, and Scott allegedly pulled a knife on the victim. Both Harley and Scott were located nearby. Upon further investigation, officers found an alleged quantity of drugs. Harley and Scott were placed into custody, and taken to county jail. Both will appear in Ellicott Town Court later.

– Ayomide Israel Akindo, 22, of Jamestown was charged Nov. 14, with petit larceny. According to police, at about 12 p.m., officers responded to a report of shoplifting. Through investigation it was found that Akindo allegedly exited a store with a bottle of wine. He was placed into custody, and will be in town court later.

– Samuel Melice Jr., 51 , of Celoron, was charged Nov. 15 with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon. According to police, at about 12:23 p.m., officers responded to a warrant check, where it is alleged Melice had an outstanding warrant issued by the Lakewood-Busti Police Department. Melice was located and placed in custody. Upon further investigation, it was determined Melice was in alleged possession of a loaded firearm with a large capacity feeding device. Melice will be in town court later.
