JAMESTOWN POLICE
– Stephanie L. Curtis, 34, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree assault and two counts of fourth-degree criminal mischief at 9:57 p.m. Thursday after officers responded to a residence on the city’s west side for a reported physical domestic incident. Curtis allegedly damaged a television remote belonging to another person. The officers’ investigation revealed a separate domestic incident had allegedly taken place on Wednesday involving the same people during which Curtis allegedly threw an ashtray against a wall, causing it to break. A fragment from the ashtray struck the other person, resulting in physical injury. Curtis was charged and taken to the city jail until she could be arraigned.
– Herman L. Williams IV of Jamestown was charged with two counts of criminal contempt at 6:24 p.m. Thursday after officers pulled a vehicle over near East Sixth and Winsor streets for alleged observed traffic infractions. Williams was allegedly inside the vehicle with two people who had a valid Stay Away Order of Protection against him. Williams was charged and taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned.
– Danielle Raynor, 37, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny at 4:44 p.m. Thursday after officers were dispatched to the area of Tops Friendly Markets for a report of a shoplifting in-progress. Prior to police arrival, it was reported that the Tops loss prevention officer had followed the suspect, who was later identified as Raynor, to the area of Howard Street and Cole Avenue where the pursuit ended. Raynor was charged and taken to the city jail until she could be arraigned after alleged prior failures to appear in court.
