≤ Krissie L. Cooper, 43, of Irving, was charged with driving while impaired by drugs–Leandra’s Law. Patrol responded at 11:38 a.m. Oct. 21 to a report of an erratic driver traveling north on Buffalo Street. It was later reported that the vehicle had struck McDonald’s. Cooper was identified as the driver while she had four passengers between the ages of 2 and 12 inside. She allegedly showed signs of impairment and failed sobriety tests. A drug recognition expert with the Erie County Sheriff’s Office administered a test, which concluded that Cooper was reportedly operating the vehicle under the influence of an unknown drug. A blood test was submitted to the Erie County Forensic Lab for testing. She is scheduled to appear in Collins Town Court later.

≤ Joshua C. Warner, 37, of Jamestown, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and two counts of improper turn without signal. Kim S. Nutting, 49, of Jamestown, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia. Patrick F. Patterson, 48, of Jamestown, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia. Police stopped a vehicle at 2:10 a.m. Sunday in the area of Lincoln and East Sixth streets for traffic infractions. An investigation found that Warner, Nutting and Patterson were each in possession of a quantity of methamphetamine. Additionally, Nutting and Patterson were found to be in possession of digital scales. All three were transported to Jamestown City Jail and later released with tickets.

≤ John C. Tufino, 31, of Jamestown, was charged with felony third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and two counts each of felony tampering with physical evidence and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Police stopped a vehicle at 8:02 p.m. Saturday on North Main near West First streets for observed traffic infractions. An investigation determined that John Tufino and Alexis Tufino were allegedly in possession of a quantity of fentanyl. During a further search inside the jail, it was found that John Tufino was reportedly concealing a large quantity of narcotics on himself and that he attempted to remove and destroy the narcotics while in the jail. He was found to be in possession of a large quantity of cocaine and fentanyl.
