JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
– Dakota J. Raymond, 28, of Jamestown, was charged June 24 with endangering the welfare of a child, and second-degree harassment. According to police, at about 3:45 a.m., officers responded to a Southside address for a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, police said, officers discovered that Raymond allegedly struck several subjects while in the presence of a 9-year-old child. Raymond was placed into custody, and taken to Jamestown City Jail without incident. He will be in Jamestown City Court later.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT
– Demian J. Seger, 49, of Mayville, was charged June 23 with driving while ability impaired by drugs, and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. According to police officials, around 6:50 p.m., deputies responded to check the well being of a disorderly person in the town of Ellery. The subject was identified as Seger and deputies were informed that Seger drove his vehicle to the incident location. Through investigation it was determined that Seger allegedly was driving while his ability was impaired by drugs. Seger was placed into custody, and taken to the sheriff’s office for processing where he was later released. He will be in Ellery Town Court later.
– Sam M. Kelly, 38, of Oakwood, Ohio, was charged June 23 with petit larceny. According to officials, at about 6:10 p.m., deputies were dispatched to a past-tense larceny that occurred on June 21 at Chautauqua Institution. Through investigation it was determined Kelly allegedly took a bicycle that did not belong to him. Kelly was released and will be in Chautauqua Town Court later.
