LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Carlos Pagan, 56, of Lakewood, was charged with open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, first-degree felony aggravated unlicensed operation and driving while intoxicated. Officers at 4:39 p.m. Sunday were told to look for a pickup truck operating in an erratic way. The truck was spotted pulling into a driveway, and officers reportedly observed an open bottle of beer in the center section next to the driver. Pagan admitted to having a suspended license. A check found that Pagan’s license had been revoked in April 2018 for driving while intoxicated. Further investigation found that Pagan had a previous DWI conviction in March 2018 and an aggravated DWI conviction in March 2014, making this arrest a felony. Pagan refused to submit to a chemical breath test and was taken to jail for central arraignment processing.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

¯ BEMUS POINT — Megan Truver, 28, of Bemus Point, was charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. Deputies and state troopers responded Saturday to Bemus Point for a reported domestic dispute. While attempting to interview the parties separately, Truver reportedly yelled profanaties within earshot of padestrians and customers at nearby businesses. Truver continued to act disorderly and later resisted being placed in custody. Truver was later processed and issued tickets to appear in Ellery Town Court later.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ WESTFIELD — Andrew C. Harris, 25, of Westfield, was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief. Deputies responded at 6:15 a.m. Monday to the town of Westfield for a reported altercation. Harris was taken into custody following an investigation. He was transported to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.

¯ ELLERY — Jennifer M. Miller, 43, of Ellery, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment. Deputies and state troopers responded at 11:26 p.m. Monday to the town of Ellery for a reported fight. An investigation found that Miller allegedly struck a child in the face while also striking other adults. Miller was processed and transported to jail for centralized arraignment.

¯ HANOVER — Abdul Rahman A. Almontaser, 36, of Lackawanna, was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and speeding. Deputies stopped Almontaser around 6 p.m. Monday for speeding on Routes 5 and 20 in the town of Hanover. An investigation found that Almontaser was allegedy intoxicated. He is scheduled to appear in Hanover Town Court later.

¯ CELORON — Three adults and a small child were safely removed from a boat that became grounded around 11:30 p.m. Sunday in a shallow area of Chautauqua Lake near the village of Celoron. Members of the Sheriff’s Office marine patrol responded and assisted those in the boat. The occupants were transported to shore in the patrol boat, and the grounded vessel was removed the following morning. No injuries were reported.
