CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE’

¯ ARKWRIGHT — Chad S. Jaynes, 30, of Arkwright, was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief. Deputies responded at 10:39 p.m. on Wednesday to a town of Arkwright home for a reported disorderly person. An investigation found that Jaynes allegedly engaged in an altercation with another person and damaged property. He is scheduled to appear in Arkwright Town Court later.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Silk E. Spencer, 34, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt and obstructing governmental administration. Officers responded at 10:17 p.m. on Thursday for a domestic incident on the south side of the city. After being spotted later on, Spencer continued to walk away after being advised to stop. He was eventually taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail.
