CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ BROCTON — Quentin J. Lawton, 26, of Stockton was charged with aggravated family offense, first-degree criminal contempt and second-degree harassment. Deputies were called Sunday to Brocton for a report of an order of protection violation. An investigation found that Lawton violated a stay away order of protection by subjecting another to unwanted contact. Lawton was transported to Chautauqua County Jail and held for centralized arraignment.

¯ FORESTVILLE — Stephen J. Meadows, 37, of Forestville was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving across hazard markings and moving from lane unsafely. Deputies were called Saturday to Prospect Road in the town of Villenova for a report of a crash. An investigation found that Meadows exited the road, causing property damage and was operating the vehicle while in an intoxicated condition. He was taken to Brooks Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries and later issued tickets to appear in Villenova Town Court later.

¯ CLYMER — Jeremy J. Houle, 32, of North East, Pa., was charged with criminal possession of a firearm, aggravated driving while intoxicated, DWI, no stopping/standing/parking on roadway and consumption of alcohol in motor vehicle. Deputies responded March 25 at 5:10 a.m. to a complaint of a male sleeping in a vehicle on the road in the town of Clymer. An investigation found that Houle was allegedly operating the vehicle while intoxicated and was in possession of a firearm that he was not permitted to possess. Houle was released with tickets to appear in Clymer Town Court later.

¯ FREDONIA — Scott Davis, 36, of Pomfret was charged with first-degree sexual abuse, second-degree criminal sexual act and third-degree criminal sexual act. Davis was taken into custody Monday by the Sheriff’s Office following an incident that took place in the village of Fredonia. Davis was transported to Chautauqua County Jail and held for arraignment.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Joseph J. Thayer, 43, and Melissa L. Seekings, 38, both of Jamestown, were charged with petit larceny. Police were called April 14 to Runnings at 720 Fairmount Ave. for a reported larceny. Officers were able to track down the pair after reviewing photographic evidence. Thayer and Seekings were issued tickets to appear in Ellicott Town Court later.

¯ Brandon L. Murphy, 25, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana and false personation. Officers stopped a vehicle Sunday at 4:46 a.m. in the village of Falconer. An investigation found that Murphy was allegedly in possession of narcotics and had provided officers with a false name. Murphy was issued tickets to appear in Ellicott Town Court later.

¯ Randall L. Crose, 54, was charged with petit larceny. Officers were called Sunday to a larceny complaint at Dollar General at 460 W. Main St. in Falconer. It was learned that Crose had allegedly left the store without paying for some groceries. He was issued a ticket to appear in Ellicott Town Court later.
