ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Kayla M. Wiberg, 28, no address listed was charged with petit larceny, resisting arrest and obstructing governmental administration. Police responded Tuesday at 11:34 p.m. to a shoplifting complaint that took place at Kwik Fill in the village of Falconer. Officers located Wiberg, who was involved in the shoplifting, and reportedly began fighting while being taken into custody. She is scheduled to appear in Ellicott Town Court later.

¯ Kyle C. Langer, 30, no address listed, was charged with false personation. Police were investigating a suspicious vehicle Wednesday at 4:28 a.m. During an investigation, Langer reportedly gave officers a false name. He is scheduled to appear in Ellicott Town Court later.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Millicent L. Leeper, 51, of Jamestown was charged with first-degree criminal contempt. Officers responded Thursday at 6 p.m. to a Lafayette Street residence for a harassment complaint. An investigation found that Leeper violated an order of protection. He was transported to Jamestown City Jail and held pending arraignment.

¯ Candy W. McBride, 43, of Jamestown was charged with aggravated family offense, criminal obstruction of breathing and second-degree unlawful imprisonment. Officers responded Saturday at 8:30 p.m. to Park Street for a domestic dispute. An investigation found that during an argument McBride allegedly choked a female and grabbed her from behind, forcing her into the apartment. He was held for arraignment.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ ELLERY — Nathan E. Manhart, 44, of Lakewood was charged with third-degree unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, second-degree aggravated harassment and endangering the welfare of a child. Deputies, assisted by state troopers, responded Sunday at 7:46 a.m. to the town of Ellery for a complaint. An investigation found that Manhart took another person’s vehicle without permission and drove it to Cherry Hill Road in the town of Harmony where he verbally threatened another person. He then reportedly drove in a reckless manner with a child passenger inside. Manhart was located on Fluvanna Townline Road in Ellery and taken into custody. He was taken to Chautauqua County Jail and is scheduled to appear in court later.

¯ DUNKIRK — Angel G. Ramos, 21, of Dunkirk was charged with felony driving while intoxicated — Leandra’s Law, driving while ability impaired by drugs, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, endangering the welfare of a child, second-degree criminal contempt, failure to dim headlights and no/insufficient headlights. Deputies stopped a vehicle Saturday at 12:57 a.m. in the town of Dunkirk. An investigation found that Ramos was allegedly operating the vehicle while intoxicated with a child less than 1 years old inside. He was transported to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.

¯ NORTH HARMONY — Amanda S. Evanock, 38, of Ashville was charged with speed over 55 mph, unregistered motor vehicle, no/improper turn signal, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle, driving while intoxicated and DWI per se. Deputies stopped a vehicle Friday at 8:25 a.m. on North Maple Avenue in the town of North Harmony. An investigation found that Evanock was driving in an intoxicated state. He was released with tickets to appear in North Harmony Town Court later.
