CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ ELLERY — Kelly Berenguer, 40, of Ashville was taken into custody Wednesday after being wanted on a warrant for seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was taken to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.

¯ SILVER CREEK — A 19-year-old female was charged with third-degree criminal mischief. Deputies responded Monday to a report of a disorderly female in the village of Silver Creek. The teenager was issued an appearance ticket following an investigation and is scheduled to appear in Silver Creek Village Court later.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Scott A. Cunningham, 54, no address listed, was charged with driving while intoxicated, failure to signal and operating with a suspended registration. Officers stopped a vehicle Feb. 8 at 2:21 a.m. for failing to signal in the town of Ellicott. An investigation later found that Cunningham was driving while in an intoxicated condition. He was processed and issued tickets to appear in Ellicott Town Court later.
