CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ KIANTONE — Dakota J. Raymond, 21, of Jamestown was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. Selena Santiago, 23, of Jamestown was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, driving while ability impaired by drugs-Leandra’s Law and endangering the welfare of a child. Deputies stopped a vehicle Friday at 12:23 a.m. on Route 60 near Martin Road in the town of Kiantone for driving with a headlight out. Deputies reported smelling marijuana coming from the vehicle. Raymond was found to be in possession of marijuana, while Santiago reportedly failed several field sobriety tests. A 2-year-old child was also in the vehicle at the time of the traffic stop. The pair was issued tickets to appear in Kiantone Town Court later.

¯ Eric D. Barbee, 37, of Jamestown was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, failure to maintain lane, failure to keep right and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Deputies observed a vehicle cross both the white fog line and the line on Jones and Gifford Avenue in Jamestown on Saturday at 12:53 a.m. Barbee was reportedly found to be driving while intoxicated and in possession of a small amount of cocaine. He is scheduled to appear in court later.

¯ POMFRET — Gina M. Mitchell, 28, of Fredonia was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI and no/improper signal. Deputies stopped a vehicle Jan. 7 at 3:51 a.m. for a traffic violation in the town of Pomfret. Mitchell was found to be driving while in an intoxicated condition. She is scheduled to appear in Pomfret Town Court later.

¯ HANOVER — Elsa E. Hernandez, 47, of Buffalo was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and speed in zone. Deputies stopped a vehicle Sunday at 1:45 a.m. for a traffic violation in the town of Hanover. Hernandez was later determined to be intoxicated. She is scheduled to appear in Hanover Town Court later.

¯ FORESTVILLE — Joel R. Tefft, 42, of Forestville was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief. Deputies responded Jan. 7 at 2 p.m. for a reported altercation on Pearl Street in Forestville. An investigation found that Tefft allegedly damaged property during the altercation. He was remanded to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.

¯ IRVING — Kayla J. Isaac, 25, of Gowanda was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI and moving from lane unsafely. Deputies responded Saturday at 11:02 a.m. to Buffalo Road in Irving for a vehicle complaint. Deputies arrived to find a vehicle stuck in a field. Isaac was later determined to be intoxicated. She is scheduled to appear in Hanover Town Court later.
