JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
¯ Zachary A. Graves, 23, of Jamestown was charged with obstructing governmental administration. Officers observed Graves on Sunday at 6:37 p.m. in the area of East Second and Winsor streets and knew to be wanted on an arrest warrant for petit larceny. Graves reportedly took off running when approached by police. He was taken into custody after a short foot pursuit. Graves was held at Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
¯ NORTH HARMONY — Derek T. Worley, 22, of Atlantis, Fla., was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI with a BAC of .08% or higher and stopping/standing/parked on a highway. Deputies on Friday at 11:25 p.m. parked on the shoulder of Interstate 86 in the town of North Harmony. An investigation found that Worley was intoxicated. He was issued appearance tickets to be in North Harmony Town Court later.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
¯ Braxton M. Achterberg, 22, of Lakewood was charged with petit larceny. Achterberg reportedly entered Walmart on June 13 and grabbed a bottle of Tide detergent. He then attempted to return the bottle, and when refused, tried to leave the store without paying for the item. Achterberg was issued an appearance ticket to be in Busti Town Court later to answer the charge.
