CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ STOCKTON — John T. McGill, 58, of Tonawanda was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and moving from lane unsafely. Deputies observed a traffic violation Saturday at 10:08 p.m. on Route 60 in Stockton. Following an investigation, McGill was taken into custody. He is scheduled to appear in Stockton Town Court at a later date.

¯ POMFRET — Branden L. Czechowski, 35, of South Dayton was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of .18 percent or higher, DWI, inadequate headlights and open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle. Deputies observed a vehicle with one headlight on Route 60 on Sunday around 2:45 a.m. Czechowski was taken into custody following an investigation. He is scheduled to answer the charges in Pomfret Town Court at a later date.

¯ KIANTONE — Patrick A. Byroads, 28, of Cassadaga was charged with driving while intoxicated and DWI per se. Deputies located a vehicle Jan. 18 on Martin Road in Kiantone involved in an earlier call in the town of Carroll. Byroads was identified as the driver, and following an investigation was taken into custody. He will answer the charges in Kiantone Town Court.

¯ RIPLEY — William G. Bissell, 68, of Ripley was charged with felony DWI, speed not reasonable and moving from lane unsafely. Deputies responded Wednesday at 2:22 a.m. to a report of a vehicle in the ditch on Route 76 in the town of Ripley. Deputies located the vehicle and identified the driver as Bissell, who was taken into custody following an investigation. Bissell will answer the charges in Ripley Town Court.
