City Of Jamestown Recognizes 10,000 Maniacs

Jamestown Mayor Eddie Sundquist, along with members of 10,000 Maniacs and local elected officials, unveiled a new “Home of 10,000 Maniacs” sign at the North Main Street entrance sign Monday. The local band now joins Lucille Ball, Roger Tory Peterson and Robert H. Jackson as those honored on city entrance signs. Dennis Drew, Steve Gustafson and Jeff Erickson from the band were in attendance Monday. State Assemblyman Andrew Goodell, State Sen. George Borrello, City Councilmen Brent Sheldon and Bill Reynolds, along with a representative of County Executive PJ Wendel’s office, also were in attendance. 10,000 Maniacs recently celebrated its 40th anniversary.
