Applebee’s team Amelia, Jim, Julie and Lonnie worked alongside the South County Area Habitat for Humanity volunteers Saturday at 27 Norton Ave. in Jamestown. In addition, Applebee’s provided food for all of the volunteers. The area Habitat for Humanity works Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. A fundraising event was recently held for three area projects, including the construction of the Norton Avenue home. The previous structure at the location was demolished, and volunteers hope to have the home completed by December 2020. The other Habitat for Humanity projects include renovations to homes in Westfield and Silver Creek.
