Pair Arrested In Shooting
No One Injured After Shots Fired At Barrett Avenue Residence
Two people were arrested and two weapons were recovered after shots rang out around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the city of Jamestown.
Capt. Robert Samuelson, division commander with the Jamestown Police Department, said no one was injured in the shooting, which occurred at a residence on Barrett Avenue, near Cowden Place.
Police received reports that shots had been fired at a residence, and officers were later seen searching the area for evidence. The names of those arrested weren’t released late Wednesday.
An area near Barrett Avenue was cordoned off to the public while police investigated the incident. Samuelson said the shooting was not random and noted that the location was likely targeted.
