Former Clymer Teacher Charged After Alleged Inappropriate Relationship With Student

CLYMER – Samanatha Dascomb, 31, of Clymer, has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor, after an alleged inappropriate relationship with a student while teaching at Clymer Central School.

In March, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Department received a complaint that Dascomb allegedly was having an in appropriate relationship with then a 16-year-old male student. The relationship allegedly began in May 2016 and continued in various locations until the complaint in March 2017.

According to Clymer Central School Superintendent Bert Lictus, Dascomb resigned from her position in March 2017.

Dascomb will be in Clymer Town Court later.
