When Miranda Wilcox was 15, the proverbial lightbulb went off in her head.

That’s when she really started to get into songwriting, and explore the craft more.

To Miranda, songwriting is about telling a story.

And she excels at telling stories through music and song.

“I can change the intention,” Miranda said. “I try not to do the basic love story thing and sing about boys all the time. I’ve really been enjoying writing about my own journey.”
