LAKEWOOD — In an effort to move closer on creating a short-term rental law, the Lakewood Village Board of Trustees Monday heard a presentation by representatives from the Bergmann Architects, Engineers, and Planners branch in Rochester.

In May 2022, the board adopted a moratorium on short-term rentals in the village. Then, Mayor Randy Holcomb said a yearlong moratorium gives the village time to review zoning regulations.
