Ready To Serve: Johnson Receives Conservative Endorsement for Judge

Peter and his wife, Lindsey, reside in Jamestown where they stay busy raising the youngest three of their children.
After receiving the Republican endorsement last week, Peter Johnson has been endorsed by the Conservative Party in the upcoming Chautauqua County Family Court Judge election.
“I want to thank the leaders of the Conservative Party for backing me as their candidate in the upcoming election,” Johnson said. “It matters a great deal to me to have the support of the two parties that I pursued endorsements from.”
A Jamestown native, Johnson graduated from Jamestown High School in 1994. He obtained a BA in Political Science from University at Buffalo graduating Magna Cum Laude in 1998. He attended Indiana University School of Law, and after graduating from law school in 2001, Johnson returned to Chautauqua County to practice law. Pete was employed in private practice by Fessenden, Laumer & DeAngelo of Jamestown until he joined the Hon. Jeffrey A. Piazza in 2015 as his court attorney.
“With Judge Piazza retiring at the end of his term this year, I am excited to have the opportunity to serve as our county’s next judge,” Johnson said.
Johnson has served in a leadership capacity with several organizations, including the YMCA, the Chautauqua County Blind Association, and his church, Conduit Ministries. He is a past President of the Jamestown Bar Association (2010-2011) and for the last nine years served as the Director of the Chautauqua County Mock Trial Program.
