Lakewood Memorial Library held a cookie decorating contest for children Tuesday. Kids had the opportunity to create ocean creatures out of cookies and other decorations. The cookie decorating event was split between two age brackets. The first event was open to children under 12 and the second event was open to children between the ages of 12 and 17. The event was well-attended by children from the community, and the library gave awards for the most artistic ocean cookies. Willow, left, and Lilly are pictured Tuesday with their tasty creations.
