The Ashville Library will hold its annual book sale, Friday, Aug. 13, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and and Saturday, Aug. 14, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Hardcovers are $1 and paperback books are 50 cents. Saturday, bags of books may be purchased for $5. Returning this year, the Books and Bottles Preview Sale will be held Thursday, Aug. 12, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. A $5 admission gives those attending a glass of wine and appetizers as they shop. No booksellers or children please. The library will be closed for regular business during all days of the sale. For more information, contact the library at 763-9906.
