MAYVILLE — Chautauqua County Executive George Borrello said he will deliver his 2018 State of the County Address at the next meeting of the County Legislature.

The address — the first for Borrello as county executive — will take place Wednesday, April 25, at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium of Chautauqua Lake Central School.

Borrello’s address will focus on business following his “100 Businesses in 100 Days” pledge.

“When I began my term as county executive, I vowed to visit 100 businesses in my first 100 days,” Borrello said. “This initiative allowed me to learn more about Chautauqua County’s current business climate in order to tailor future economic and workforce development programs.

“My State of the County will reveal the findings from my business visits and set our course as we work to elevate Chautauqua County. I thank the County Legislature for changing its meeting location to the school to better accommodate the public and our business leaders.”

The legislature typically meets in the Gerace Office Building in Mayville. However, the meeting was moved to accommodate Borrello’s address.

The school is located at 100 N. Erie St. in Mayville.
