Volunteer firefighters responded to a report of a train fire on the CSX railroad tracks between Harrington Road and Chadwick Drive in the town of Dunkirk around 11:45 a.m. Thursday. The fire was quickly put out. No injuries were reported. The East Dunkirk and Sheridan Fire departments responded to the scene.
