A child has been killed near Fletcher Elementary School after being struck by a school bus. The area around Fletcher Elementary School was closed while parents were dropping children off Monday morning while Jamestown police officers investigated an accident involving a school bus. SINCLAIRVILLE --- A village man is facing charges after discharging a shotgun during an altercation. Around 11:34 p.m. Saturday, the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office and New York State Police responded to an address on Main Street. Forecasters say that lake effect snows are expected with total snow accumulations 4 to 7 inches in the most persistent lake snows across the higher terrain inland from Lake Erie.
