City Man Charged After Assault With Baseball Bat
A Jamestown man is facing charges after an assault on Thanksgiving morning. Alec C. Pentz, 30, was charged with second-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. At around 9:41 a.m., officers from the Jamestown Police Department responded to a Northside address for a reported assault. A subsequent investigation determined that the suspect, Pentz, struck a victim at the scene with a baseball bat, causing the victim to sustain injuries. Pentz was taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail where he was being held pending arraignment.
