A Brocton man has been charged with forcible touching by Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies. Dale F. Parks, 68, of Brocton was charged Tuesday, according to a police report. Deputies received a complaint on Oct. 17, 2025, that Parks allegedly had inappropriate contact with another person. After an investigation into the allegations, investigators with the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office charged Parks , who was given an appearance ticket to be in Portland Town Court later.

Jamestown police officers responded to the south side of Jamestown after being alerted by neighborhood residents and began looking for the child's parent or guardian. An accident on the New York State Thruway in the town of Evans has claimed the life of a Jamestown woman. New York State Police report at approximately 7:32 a.m. Wednesday, they responded to a one vehicle collision in the eastbound lanes four miles from the Evans-Angola exit.
