U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo announced Friday that Alyssa Sheldon, 30, who was convicted of assaulting, resisting or impeding a federal officer, was sentenced by U.S. Magistrate Judge Michael J. A Westfield man, who is being held on $1 million bail after allegedly trying to murder a woman in March in the village, is facing an additional charge. On Monday, an investigation was conducted by the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division. It was found that Jahmaul W.
