Emergency crews are pictured Monday afternoon at the intersection of Prendergast

A woman who was reportedly run over by a vehicle was taken to the hospital Monday afternoon.

Jamestown firefighters, Alstar EMS and officers with the Jamestown Police Department were called to Crossman Street, near Prendergast Avenue, around 12:30 p.m. for a report of an injured woman. It was learned that the woman had been accidentally run over by a vehicle.

She was taken by ambulance to UPMC Chautauqua.
