Police Looking To ID Men Involved In Warren County Thefts
The Pennsylvania State Police is asking the public’s help in identifying two men involved in recent thefts in Warren County.
Troopers on Thursday say they are looking for the man responsible for stealing fuel Oct. 31 and Dec. 15 of last year and Feb. 10 of this year at the Kwik Fill in Sugar Grove, Pa., before driving off. The unknown male wore dark-colored hooded sweatshirts with jeans.
The suspect drove a Dodge Caravan on two occasions and later a Pontiac Grand Am to steal the fuel with what is believed to be the same older-style New York license plate white and blue in color with the Statue of Liberty in the middle.
Troopers are also looking for a man who on Feb. 18 walked into the Howe’s True Value on Route 6 in Mead Township, grabbed a Stihl Cutquik saw and left without paying. The man was seen on surveilence video entering and leaving the store in a Ford SUV with a New York license plate.
The state police do not believe the incidents are related.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Pennsylvania State Police Warren barracks at 814-728-3600 or Warren County Crime Stoppers.
