HARMONY WEBSITE The town of Harmony has a new website at www.harmony.org. Due to a recent update and subsequent low activity, the website has not been brought into the top of many search engines. A recent Post-Journal analysis of municipal websites was unable to find the site. The new site would meet a several of a state legislator’s proposed criteria for municipal websites by having a site, having basic information about the town, meeting agendas, minutes and the town’s codes and laws. Busti Apple festival A story in Thursday’s edition incorrectly listed Lakewood Walmart as a sponsor of this Sunday’s Busti Apple Festival. The sponsor is the Lakewood Mobil Mart.

Clarification: Falconer Fire

A story in Wednesday’s edition of The Post-Journal omitted the year in which a building in the village of Falconer was destroyed by fire. The Main Street structure caught fire in March 2017.

Ground Broken A story in Wednesday’s edition of The Post-Journal incorrectly stated the size of North Harmony’s new planned town administration and court building. In a story that appeared in The Sunday Post-Journal regarding Bob and Kathy Barber, a Jamestown couple who have traveled the world, they say Vietnamese view the U.S. more positively now as a counterbalance to China, which they view as a threat. Additionally, the aborigines painting originally described in the article as being from China is from Australia.
