SWCS Class Builds Sheds
Students in teacher Nick Lundgren’s construction class built a pair of sheds at Southwestern High School. The students learned the basics of framing, roofing and exterior finishes while using tools including miter saws, circular saws, framing nailers, and many other hand tools typically used in the construction industry. There are 17 students in the class. Both sheds were purchased by teachers at Southwestern High and will be delivered to their homes in the spring. This is the second year SWCS has offered a construction course.
