The Norden Women’s Club met at the Moon Brook County Club for a member-guest luncheon.

Hostesses were Mardell Hanson and Rose Prieur. Brenda Fitzgerald welcomed everyone. Gayle Jackson led the invocation. Nancy Jones, membership chair, introduced two new members: Karen Murray and Jill Rexroad. Sharon Garrison’s grand-daughter, Ella Garrison, served cookies as the Lucia.

The Madrigal Singers from JHS were unable to perform, as the director was in Rochester with two seniors representing Jamestown at the NYSSMA’s Winter Conference All-State Festival. In their place, the Maple Grove Voices performed under the direction of Julie Constantino and accompanied by Julie Livengood. A drawing was then held for 15 poinsettias.

The next board meeting will be held on Jan. 9 at the home of Birgitta Hofert. The next luncheon will be on Feb. 27 at the Hat’s Tea at 125 Fairmount Ave., Lakewood. The program will focus on the 110th anniversary of the Norden Women’s Club.
