The Mayville/Chautauqua Lions Club recently held its annual chicken barbecue, featuring Weidner Barbecue, at American Legion Post 493. Lions Club members served the dinners as people drove through. Three hundred dinners were served. “We thank everyone who came out to support our Lions Club. The proceeds will be used to help folks in our local community with items such as glasses, improvement in their well-being, or those who are in need,” the club said. “Next year we will order even more chicken, since the demand was greater that we had anticipated. Keep on the lookout for our next fundraising event. As always, we thank everyone for supporting the Lions Club.”
