Vinton Is NCCR Dog Of The Week

Vinton

The Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue Dog of the Week is Vinton, who has been waiting for his forever family for a little while now and since his best friend was recently adopted, he is getting impatient. Vinton arrived at NCCR after being rescued from a large-scale cruelty case, blind in one eye and scarred from being attacked by other starving dogs. He has made a full recovery from malnutrition, and has been making great progress in learning to trust people. He does best when he has a canine companion to show him that everything is OK. As much as he loves other dogs, he can be a little possessive when it comes to sharing his toys with them, so his new best friend would be a dog that doesn’t care too much about stealing his favorite ball. Vinton is ready and waiting for a loving and understanding person who will make him a part of the family and help him continue his healing journey. Read more about Vinton and his adoptable friends, and apply to adopt online at www.caninerescue.org, or visit the shelter and meet the dogs in person Monday through Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. at 7540 N. Gale St., Westfield.
