MAYVILLE — The Mayville-Chautauqua Community Chamber of Commerce will once again host the Mayville Farmers’ and Artisans’ Market every Thursday, starting May 26 and running through Sept. 8.

The market will run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursdays throughout the season., featuring local farmers and artisans with a focus on all things handmade.

Also available at the market are weekly food options from local food trucks, homemade baked goods, a rock painting table for the #MayvilleNYRocks project, as well as lunchtime music from noon to 1 p.m. The Mayville-Chautauqua Community Chamber will also have a table on site with information about upcoming events, merchandise, and people available to answer questions about events or chamber membership. Planning is under way for special weekly events throughout the season and that information will be released soon.

The Mayville Farmers’ & Artisans’ Market was new last year. It is located at the Village Park by the traffic signal at the intersection of Routes 394 and 430. The Mayville-Chautauqua Community Chamber Committee brought the market to life last year and found it to be highly successful.

For a listing of the weekly vendors, special events, weekly food trucks, and/or lunchtime music as well as updates on the market, follow them on Facebook at MayvilleFarmersArtisansMarket.

For more information about becoming a vendor (farmer, artisan, food option), email contact Shannon Biekarck, chamber coordinator at sbiekarck@chautauquachamber.org or chamber chairwoman Sorena Gilkinson at mayville-chautauquachamberofcommerce@outlook.com.
